The Betty Ford Center is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for adults in Rancho Mirage, California. It has gained notoriety as the treatment center used by many celebrities.

Some rumors got started in 1966 that some guy named Paul in some band died in a car crash. That band left tons of clues in their songs and on their album covers. As the story goes he was replaced in the band by a look-a-like (below)….

This guy learned to sing like Paul, play bass left handed and basically fooled the music world. (and you thought Milli Vanilli was the first to fool the music world). It was quite a big deal… They even had magazines dedicated to Paul’s death…

Our good friend Josh Paul known as “The JPC“, bass player for the multi-platinum, multi-award winning band Daughtry and former bass player for Suicidal Tendencies gets all his shirts, hats and jackets at Lemon Rags before he goes out on tour.
